Scale items in Scorpion are used for surveys and present examinees with a statement for them to either agree or disagree and to which degree with a scale.

Scale Settings
Points- This is the amount of points that can be earned for the item.
Scoring Method- There are two options for scoring method:
- Default- The item will be automatically scored. If the item has multiple correct options, and they are not all selected, then the item will be incorrect.
- Manual- The item will have to be manually scored.
Method:
- Percent- This will give a percentage for the score based on upper end being 100%
- Exact- This will determine if the item is considered correct based on the key.
Key- This determines what the correct response is in a normal exam.
Lower Bound*- This determines what number is on the lowest end of the scale
Upper Bound*- This determines what number is on the upper end of the scale.
Lower Label (30 characters maximum)- This option is for writing what will be on the lower end of the scale.
Upper Label (30 characters maximum)- This option is for writing what will be on the upper end of the scale.
Enemies- This is where you can select enemy items. Enemy items are typically items that give the answer to this item. Enemies are used in form making.
