Examinee Settings Screen
This is where you as a Test Taker will fulfill your pre-requisites to connect to the Observer platform. Depending on your test sponsor’s requirements, you may need to connect your web camera, share your screen, connect your secondary camera, and take a selfie. Once your prerequisites are complete and you click start exam, the test content will appear here.
If any of these connections disconnect during your exam, you will be redirected here to reconnect.
Messages
This is where you as a test taker/candidate will see notices and alerts regarding your session and can request help from a Task Analyst by typing help any communications between you and the Task Analyst will appear here.
Tool Bar
This is where you can see your test session statuses and access the Examinee Settings page and Messages panel during your exam. For example, if your webcam stops working during your exam, click on the black button with the picture of gears to go to the settings page to reconnect your device. Click the gear again to go back to your exam. Clicking the black button with the picture of chat bubbles will make the chat window appear or hide it.
