This document will show you how to set up a Caveon ID and two factor authentication for Caveon ID. Caveon ID is used for authenticating to Caveon software services including, Core, SmartItems and Scorpion.

How to Create an Account
1- To create a Caveon ID go to id.caveon.com, then click on the Create Account option in the bottom left.
2- You will then be prompted to enter your First name, Last name, Email, Password, Confirm Password, Security Question and Answer for the security question. After you have filled out these fields, click on the Create Account Button.
3- Login to Caveon ID, you will then be emailed a confirmation code which will need to be entered here:
*Please check you Junk Emails if you do not see it in your inbox.
This is what the confirmation email will look like (be sure to check your junk mail):
Click on the Confirm button once the code is entered.
4- (This step may not happen if your email isn't a part of a group) You will then need to read through and agree to the Terms of Service & Privacy Policies. There will be different number of terms of service depending upon the email you use to set up your Caveon ID account. Press the Accept button when you are finished reading the terms of service.
How to Set Up Two Factor Authentication with SMS (Text)
5- You will then see the User Dashboard where you can edit your information and set up Two factor authentication. To set up two step factor authentication you will need to set up a phone number by clicking on the Change button (if you have already set up a phone number skip to step 9).
6- Enter your phone number in the field, then click the Save button.
7-Enter the code that you get via text then click the Submit button.
8- Click on the Enable button next to Two-Factor Auth.
9- Click on the Use SMS button next to Two-Factor Auth.
How to Set Up Two Factor Authentication with Google Authenticator
10- You will then see the User Dashboard where you can edit your information and set up Two factor authentication. To set up two step factor authentication you will need to set up a phone number by clicking on the Change button (if you have already set up a phone number skip to step 14).
11- Enter your phone number in the field, then click the Save button.
12-Enter the code that you get via text then click the Submit button.
13- Click on the Enable button next to Two-Factor Auth.
14- In your Google Authenticator app, tap on the plus symbol.

15- Either scan the QR code or enter the code manually by tapping on the appropriate button in the app.
16- Enter your code from Google authenticator into the text field under Code. Then click the Save button.
How to Set Up Two Factor Authentication with Authy
17- You will then see the User Dashboard where you can edit your information and set up Two factor authentication. To set up two step factor authentication you will need to set up a phone number by clicking on the Change button (if you have already set up a phone number skip to step 21).
18- Enter your phone number in the field, then click the Save button.
19-Enter the code that you get via text then click the Submit button.
20- Click on the Enable button next to Two-Factor Auth.
21- In your Authy app, tap on the Add Account button.
